Veyavo melech hakavod - Sukkos, culminating in yichus of G-d and us
These letters form the word shofar because it opens the gateway to all the holidays.
The Medrash cites Yoel - G-d sent His voice/sound before the host… The day of G-d is awesome and great. This sending is the shofar, the host is Israel, shocked and trembling from the shofar’s sound and doing Teshuva to be meritorious is din on YK.
The upper and the lower tremble because of the sound- this is the gateway to all of the holy parts of this exalted time, the month of the mighty ones.
Moshol - King sends son away to fulfil a task, writes to him everyday. Enemies use sabotage and block the letters from arriving, trying to cut the connection between King and son. The King managed to get one time a year when they spoke face to face in a language that the enemies could not understand (shofaric) and therefore they couldn’t mess with it. This revived the connection between them. Similarly, our connection is constantly susceptible to the accusations of the negative forces, masks and separations to disconnect us and our Father. One time a year via the sound of the shofar we connect. We say we don’t remember sins on RH but we can confess between tekiot, because when we speak directly in this way no-one can hear or interfere. Thus the connection is renewed.
Once a year vis the blow of the shofar all israel sighs in a deep most real way and the Other Side can’t get involved. Even if all the gates are locked - calling day and night, no answer - now, all the walls are broken down. And no-ne can stop the connection.
It’s what the Torah says about the KG going inside inside- the KK - in the name of all of Israel - and no person can go in. At that pt we and G-d are one, ad no zar/stranger can interfere.
Osef confessed to his brothers. No one else was with him. It was a time of reconnection of the 12 tribes, so no-one could interfere. Like the shofar, face to face connection. Israel-G-d.
Kabbalah: The blowing of the shofar sweetens the judgments. The sound, groan from deep in our hearts, just between us and G-d does this sweetening. This is the highest level of the year via the moaning through the shofar, no-one else, nothing else involved, just us and G-d.

Se’u Hearim… - This is the midot of the moach, mind,brain
Vehinasu Pitchei Olam - This is the characteristics of the heart.
The shofar opens all the gateways of the gateways of the mind and the heart, so the king og glory will come in. And then G-d dwells inside us. As per - veshachanti betocham, the holiness dwelling inside each of us. The shofar open all the gateways.
The the worst onesh for a Jew is to be incarcerated. About this Dovid asks, take me out of the prisons of my heart. There are incarcerations that cut you of from all your organs. The mind stuffed up, not feeling/connecting with G-d. His heart not feeling g-dliness. All his limbs not feeling the Divine Presence. All of him distant fr Hashem
Even when the holy days come a person can be closed off. And all he wants his for his soul to be unlocked.
This is the work of the other side, all it does, masks and separates us and Hashem.
Yet, the sound of the shofar splits these gates and frees us from the lock-up. Through this the King og Glory comes, we become aware, feel G-d again. Judgements are only when there are coverings separating, now things get sweetened. In the Yehi Ratzon pre Shofar we say that all we pray for is removal of separations.
Zohar: Ashrei ha’Am yod’ei truah - It does not say fortunate is the nation who hears the truah, but who knows it, the JP who know the deep secrets of the truah, as it says, Tehillim 2- smash them with an iron rod. The knowing the secret of the truah takes us into the light of G-d, we’re guided close, in His Light. We merit to see the light of the Living G-d. This is because he truah breaks all the walls/separations.
All the darkness we experience is because of the covering masks that separate us from seeing G-d’s Dvinity. In the practical world (asiyah) we see that the highest level is to have G-d’s light shine in every corner. Our soul’s are enlightened by G-d’s light. Ki be’ohr panechah…
We can learn, daven, do good deeds, but still be in darkness, not seeing te light.
This is the purpose of the sound of the shofar, to smash the separations from seeing The Light, and to arrive at the The Purpose, Be’Ohr Panechah Yehaleichum.
